In \u200ca sad update from Buckingham Palace, it has been\u2064 confirmed \u200cthat\u200c the \u2064Queen \u200dwill sadly miss this weekend\u2019s important Remembrance Day events\u2062 due to her illness.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her Majesty, told by her doctors to \u200bavoid \u2064public \u200cgatherings for a complete recovery, will observe the\u200c solemn ceremonies from\u200d her private rooms.<\/p>\n

The Palace spokesperson said: \u201cFollowing doctors\u2019 advice to ensure a full\u200d recovery from\u200c a seasonal chest \u2062infection and\u2062 to protect others from any possible risk, Her \u200dMajesty will not attend this weekend\u2019s \u200cRemembrance\u200c events.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile this is very disappointing for The \u2063Queen, she\u200c will mark the occasion privately at home\u200c and hopes \u2064to return\u2064 to\u200b public\u200b duties \u200cearly \u2062next week.\u201d\u200c<\/p>\n

This announcement comes after \u2062earlier news that the Queen had\u200c to \u200ccancel her plans earlier\u200c this week because of the infection. \u2063<\/p>\n

Even though she won\u2019t be there physically, the spirit of the event remains strong with the Royal Family \u200bstill taking \u200cpart actively.<\/p>\n

The King and Princess \u200bof Wales, both having faced their\u200d own health issues are confirmed to attend \u2062these events.<\/p>\n

This\u200d includes \u200bthe serious Royal British Legion Festival of\u200b Remembrance at Royal Albert\u2063 Hall and also \u200cat Cenotaph.<\/p>\n

The importance of this weekend is clear for both citizens and \u2064leaders. Prime Minister Sir \u200cKeir Starmer shared \u2062his\u2064 well-wishes on social media saying: \u201cOn behalf of everyone in our country I \u2062wish Her Majesty\u200c The Queen a quick recovery.\u201dIn meantime recently King and\u200b Camilla finished up an exhausting\u200d tour traveling over 30 thousand miles in \u2063just eleven\u2062 days showing their dedication despite personal health struggles.Their trip included a short stay at Soukya resort in Bangalore known for\u200b its healing wellness programs which was\u200c suggested as part\u200b of King\u2019s \u200chealth plan.
