My 24 y.o. stepdaughter visits on weekends. I wanted space for my daily workouts, so I transformed it into my gym. She was angry but I told her, \u2018This is my home now, you don\u2019t get to decide!\u2019 Hours later, I got a disturbing call from my own daughter, and I rushed to her home. I fainted when I discovered my husband had turned her house upside down.<\/p>\n

Turns out my husband, in a fit of rage, had shown up at her place with bottles of detergent and poured the liquid all over her brand-new furniture. My daughter said he\u2019d shouted, \u201cTell your mother: My money, my rules!\u201d<\/p>\n

Last year, when my daughter got married, we had gifted her this furniture set-he had paid for it. And now, he\u2019d done this to get back at me.<\/p>\n
