The Grandpa says, \u201cI don\u2019t know, why?\u201d<\/p>\n
The little boy says,<\/p>\n
\u201cBecause grandma says as soon as you croak, we can go to Disneyland!\u201d<\/p>\n
A little boy comes running into the room, his face lit up with excitement. He bursts through the door, skidding to a stop in front of his grandpa, and says, \u201cGrandpa! Grandpa! Can you make a sound like a frog?\u201d<\/p>\n
Grandpa looks up from his newspaper, puzzled. \u201cI don\u2019t know, why?\u201d<\/p>\n
The little boy\u2019s eyes widen as if he\u2019s about to share a big secret. \u201cBecause Grandma says as soon as you croak, we can go to Disneyland!\u201d<\/p>\n
Grandpa\u2019s eyebrows shoot up in surprise. \u201cWait, what?\u201d<\/p>\n
The little boy, clearly not understanding the confusion, nods eagerly. \u201cYeah! She says once you croak, we\u2019ll be on our way to the happiest place on Earth!\u201d<\/p>\n
Grandpa stares at him for a moment, then bursts into laughter. \u201cOh, my! So that\u2019s what she meant by croak?! I thought she was referring to my singing voice!\u201d<\/p>\n
The little boy looks disappointed for a second, but then his face lights up with a new idea. \u201cWait! Can you at least pretend to croak? Like ribbit?\u201d<\/p>\n
Grandpa, shaking his head, chuckles. \u201cSure, I can do that. But just so you know, I think Grandma has her own plans for croaking.\u201d<\/p>\n
The little boy frowns, confused. \u201cWhat do you mean?\u201d<\/p>\n
Grandpa winks. \u201cI\u2019ll give you a hint\u2014there\u2019s a nice big pillow with my name on it, and I\u2019m not planning on using it anytime soon!\u201d<\/p>\n
The boy giggles, but then pauses, thinking. \u201cSo\u2026 if Grandma doesn\u2019t think you\u2019ll croak, does that mean we don\u2019t get to go to Disneyland?\u201d<\/p>\n
Grandpa laughs again. \u201cWell, let\u2019s just say, we\u2019ll go to Disneyland either way\u2014but I think I\u2019ll stick to ribbits rather than croaking for now!\u201d<\/p>\n
